Quick Answer: Shop luxe equine gear in Australia — premium leather tack, rugs and horse gear from the top of our range, for horses that deserve the very best. From anatomical belly guard girths with Ultrawool liners to TPU tendon boots and single-branch safety stirrups, every product is engineered for performance, protection, and Australian conditions.
Anatomical Girths, Tendon Boots, Safety Stirrups and Premium Bridles
Competition horses demand gear that protects without compromising performance. The Luxe Horse Gear collection features Equifit anatomical girths with Ultrawool and sheepskin liners that distribute pressure evenly while allowing full ribcage expansion. These girths are engineered with TPU exterior shells that resist wear and maintain shape through years of competition use. For horses with sensitive skin, the natural wool liners prevent girth galls and sweating issues common in Australian summers.
Protection is equally critical. Freejump safety stirrups feature single-branch designs that release the foot during a fall — a safety innovation that has become the standard in international show jumping. Jump'In bridles are hand-stitched in France from premium vegetable-tanned leather, with anatomical designs that distribute pressure evenly across the horse’s head. Ippico adds premium horse gear combining Italian design with competition-grade performance. Every product in this collection is chosen for its contribution to horse welfare and competition performance.

Anatomical Girths and Belly Guards
Premium girths from Equifit represent the pinnacle of pressure distribution and horse comfort.
Equifit Belly Guard Girths
Equifit belly guard girths feature TPU exterior shells with removable Ultrawool or sheepskin liners. The anatomical shape cuts back behind the elbows, allowing maximum shoulder freedom while distributing girth pressure across a wider area. For Australian dressage riders, the AMPTEQ girth offers electronic muscle stimulation capability alongside premium construction.
Replacement Liners
Equifit girths feature removable liners that can be replaced when worn. Ultrawool liners provide moisture-wicking performance for summer competition, while sheepskin liners offer natural cushioning for sensitive-skinned horses. Keeping spare liners allows you to swap between horses or replace a sweaty liner mid-competition.
Tendon Boots and Leg Protection
Competition-grade leg protection from Equifit and Jump'In absorbs impact without restricting movement.
Equifit Tendon Boots
Equifit tendon boots feature TPU strike plates that absorb and distribute pole impact forces. The boots are lined with breathable materials that manage heat build-up during competition. For Australian riders competing in warm conditions, the ventilation design is critical for tendon health — heat build-up in tendons can cause inflammation and long-term damage.
Jump'In Leather Boots
Jump'In offers leather tendon boots and brushing boots crafted from premium French leather. These boots combine traditional craftsmanship with modern protection technology, offering a classic look in the competition ring with genuine impact absorption. Condition leather boots regularly to maintain suppleness and prevent cracking.
Safety Stirrups and Bridles
Freejump stirrups and Jump'In bridles represent the pinnacle of rider safety and horse comfort.
Freejump Safety Stirrups
Freejump pioneered the single-branch safety stirrup design that releases the foot during a fall. The wide tread platform provides superior grip, while the spring-steel branch absorbs shock and reduces ankle, knee, and hip strain. Freejump stirrups are the choice of international show jumping professionals.
Jump'In Premium Bridles
Jump'In bridles are hand-stitched in France from premium vegetable-tanned leather. Anatomical designs distribute pressure evenly across the horse’s poll and face, reducing tension and improving comfort. The leather is supple from new and develops a rich patina with use and proper conditioning.
Choosing the Right Luxe Horse Gear
Match your gear to your discipline and horse’s needs. Dressage riders should prioritise anatomical girths from Equifit and Jump'In dressage bridles for optimal pressure distribution. Show jumpers need Freejump safety stirrups and Equifit tendon boots for pole impact protection. Eventers benefit from the full range — anatomical girths for the dressage phase, tendon boots for jumping, and safety stirrups for cross-country.
For sensitive-skinned horses, choose girths with sheepskin or Ultrawool liners rather than neoprene. For horses that knock poles, select tendon boots with the thickest TPU strike plates. For riders with ankle or knee issues, Freejump stirrups with shock-absorbing branches provide measurable relief. Care and Maintenance of Premium Horse Gear
Premium leather gear from Jump'In should be wiped with a damp cloth after each use and conditioned every two weeks with quality leather balm. Pay attention to areas that absorb the most sweat — the noseband, cheekpieces, and girth straps. Store leather gear in a dry, ventilated tack room away from direct sunlight. With proper care, Jump'In leather should last years of competition use.
Equifit girth liners should be removed and washed after each use — sweat and sand trapped against the skin cause irritation. Machine wash wool and sheepskin liners on a gentle cycle in cool water, then air dry. TPU shells can be wiped with a damp cloth. Freejump stirrups need minimal maintenance — check the spring-steel branch for signs of wear and ensure the tread is clean and free of debris that could affect grip.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s in the Luxe Horse Gear collection?
The collection includes anatomical girths from Equifit, tendon boots from Equifit and Jump'In, safety stirrups from Freejump, and premium bridles from Jump'In. All products are competition-grade and chosen for horse welfare and performance.
Are Equifit girth liners replaceable?
Yes. Equifit girths feature removable liners that can be replaced when worn. Ultrawool liners provide moisture-wicking for summer, while sheepskin liners offer natural cushioning for sensitive horses. Keeping spare liners allows swapping between horses or replacing a sweaty liner mid-competition.
Why choose Freejump safety stirrups?
Freejump pioneered the single-branch safety stirrup that releases the foot during a fall. The wide tread provides superior grip, and the spring-steel branch absorbs shock, reducing strain on the rider’s ankle, knee, and hip. They’re trusted by international show jumping professionals.
How do I care for premium leather horse gear?
Wipe leather gear with a damp cloth after each use and condition every two weeks with quality leather balm. Focus on areas that absorb the most sweat. Store in a dry, ventilated tack room away from direct sunlight. With proper care, Jump'In leather should last years of competition use.
Are Jump'In bridles anatomically designed?
Yes. Jump'In bridles feature anatomical designs that distribute pressure evenly across the horse’s poll and face. The headpiece is shaped to reduce poll pressure, and the noseband avoids the zygomatic arch. This reduces tension and improves comfort, particularly for horses sensitive to traditional bridle pressure.
Can I use Luxe Horse Gear for everyday schooling?
Yes, although the gear is competition-grade it performs equally well for schooling. Many riders reserve their premium gear for competition to preserve it, but the durability of Equifit, Freejump, and Jump'In products means they can handle regular use without issue.
What size Equifit girth do I need?
Equifit girths come in various lengths. Measure your current girth end-to-end including buckles, or measure from girth buckle to girth buckle on your saddled horse. For dressage, short girths (45-65cm) are standard. For jumping, longer girths (65-85cm) are typical. Contact us for sizing advice.
