Product FAQs
How do I measure for the Curb Chain Cover?
You need two measurements: foot length (standard shoe size) and calf width at the widest point. For tall boots, also measure from the floor to the back of your knee. Check the Equifit size chart above — calf sizing varies significantly between brands.
What's the difference between tall boots and paddock boots?
Tall boots (dress or field boots) are required for formal competition. Paddock boots (ankle-height) are for everyday riding and are worn with half chaps. The Curb Chain Cover is designed for the use case shown in the product description — most riders own both styles.
How do I care for my Equifit riding boots?
Clean after every ride with a damp cloth, condition weekly with leather conditioner, and use boot trees or stuff with newspaper to maintain shape when not in use. Keep away from direct heat. Properly maintained Curb Chain Cover boots can last years.
