Heavy on the reins, tight in the jaw, leaning through the work - that horse is the reason the Mac Genis mouthpiece exists, and the Jump'In Mac Genis Full Cheek Gag wraps it in the most steering-capable gag format Jump'In makes.

How it works: gag rings deliver the rebalancing action, encouraging a shift of weight onto the hindquarters with strength rising on ring size, while full cheek arms hold direction for along-the-wall or down-a-line precision. Inside the mouth, the signature squared cannons and free copper rollers occupy a busy tongue - the mouthing play that Jump'In credits with producing a more relaxed horse - so tension has somewhere to go instead of into the rein. Special cheekpieces; two reins, loops, or four.

Why we rate it: the Mac Genis gag suits the horse whose heaviness is really worry in disguise, and this is the most controllable cheek it comes on. Four reins, a patient program, and the copper does a surprising share of the softening. Clean the rollers daily - they're the working parts. German silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel).
