Full cheek Gag bit with loose hight port
A high port and a gag normally pull in different directions - one comforts, one collects. The Jump'In Full Cheek Gag with Loose High Port runs both: gag action for the rebalance, a tall arch for the tongue, full cheeks for the steering.
How it works: sliding gag rings invite the horse to shift its weight back onto the hindquarters, scaled up on ring size, while the full cheek arms maintain directional control independent of rein pressure. Between them, the loose high port gives the tongue its room - which Jump'In connects to easier breathing and better focus in work - and lifts the mouthpiece clear of the palate. It needs the special gag cheekpieces, and rigs with two reins, loops, or four.
Why we rate it: the port elevates this above the plain full cheek gag for any horse with a thick tongue or palate sensitivities - most strong bits crowd exactly the mouths that least tolerate crowding, and this design polices that trade-off properly. A considered tool for the horse that needs reminding without being rattled. German silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel). Rinse the port and slides after each ride; see our leverage bits.
