Mesh Pad
For a black saddle, black tack and a tidy look, the solid black Jump'In Mesh Pad is the understated member of the technical half pad family. Underneath the low-key colour sits the same construction as the rest of the range: 3D mesh fabric over a shape-memory foam core.
How it works: the mesh outer keeps air moving between pad and horse, while the foam layer cushions the pressure that comes down through the saddle - then returns to shape rather than packing flat like ordinary foam. The generous wither opening keeps movement free, and the ergonomic cut is shaped around the saddle panels so the shoulder never carries the load edge.
Why we rate it: shape-memory foam is the difference between a pad that still works in month six and one that's dead by week three. The all-black version is also the one that disappears under a show saddle, which is exactly what you want from a half pad on a competition day.
— One size (horse), sponge-washable. Eleven colourways in the wider Jump'In Mesh Pad range.
