The Remie is For Horses' classic cut — mid-rise, curved waistband, smooth back with no pockets breaking the line. It's a shape that flatters real bodies rather than one sample-size silhouette, and it's been in their range long enough to prove it.

Cut from Iperbiflex, For Horses' multi-stretch Italian fabric (88% polyamide, 12% elastane; the white colourway runs 91/9), with the FH Grip System holding you in the saddle without the plastered-on feel some grip breeches have. It wicks, it dries fast, and it holds its shape through a season of washing — which is the real test of an expensive pair of breeches.

The front zip runs double hook buttons rather than a clasp, and the integrated lycra ankle socks tuck under tall boots with zero bulk. You can show in it — Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation and Dressage all appear on For Horses' own competition list — but it's equally at home in the schooling ring.
