How it works: the gag action does the family job - inviting the horse to rebalance and shift weight onto its hindquarters, strength scaled by ring size. Because the rings are eggbutt-fixed rather than free, the mouthpiece sits stiller between aids, and the slight lever addition rounds out the delivery. The French mouth centre protects the palate throughout. Special gag cheekpieces required; two reins directly, loops, or four reins.
