French mouth Gag Bradoon bit
The same gag-bradoon concept, one big concession to comfort: the Jump'In French Mouth Gag Bradoon puts the smooth, palate-free French mouth centre between its thin gag cannons, keeping the rebalancing action but removing the harsh arrival.
How it works: the gag rings slide as rein pressure engages, prompting the rebalancing shift onto the hindquarters, with strength scaling on ring size. Between the cheeks, the French mouth shaping spares the roof of the mouth any pressure, so each gag aid reads as a question about balance rather than a poke. It pairs below with a Weymouth or goes on a standard bridle with gag cheekpieces.
Why we rate it: of the gag bradoons, this is the version most horses will forgive - same mechanical lesson, kinder mouthpiece. If a double-bridle horse needs occasional rebalancing reminders without spooking it off the curb entirely, this is the pick of the pair. German silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel). Rinse the slides and centre link carefully. See our leverage bits collection.
