Loose ring Bradoon bit
Every double bridle needs its second half, and the bradoon is that half: the small snaffle that shares the mouth with the Weymouth. Jump'In's Loose Ring Bradoon is built slim and unobtrusive, so the Weymouth - not a crowded mouthful - does the collecting.
How it works: a bradoon's job is unambiguous direct contact that coexists with the curb below it, and the loose ring cheeks are the quietest delivery available: free-rotating, direct, no side influence on their own. Jump'In specifies this model as perfectly adapted to pairing with a Weymouth because it takes so little space in the mouth, leaving room for the curb cannon and the tongue both.
Why we rate it: the least-glamorous, most-important purchase in a double bridle set. Riders agonise over the Weymouth and grab any bradoon; reversing that priority pays off, since the bradoon is what the horse's tongue feels first. Well-machined in German silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel). Rinse both bits after every single ride. Pair it with a double bridle loop if your bridle isn't a dedicated double.
— Sizes: 125 mm (5 in) or 135 mm (5.25 in).
