High port loose full cheek bit

For the big-tongued warmblood that fusses above the bit, the Jump'In High Port Loose Full Cheek offers the most tongue accommodation in the full cheek family. The high port arches over the tongue entirely, and Jump'In links that freedom directly to a calmer mouth, better tongue placement and steadier breathing through work.

How it works: like all Jump'In full cheeks, the arms provide direct, powerful direction with no lever effect - the bit presses the outside of the cheek, guiding the whole head without sliding sideways. The high port takes care of the inside of the mouth: it raises the mouthpiece off the tongue and palate so the horse can carry the bit rather than fight it, which supports focus and relaxation during training.

Why we rate it: this is the version for directional problems and tongue problems arriving together - the horse that swings out through a corner and gapes at the same time. It matches a French mouth full cheek for steering and beats it for busy tongues. German silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel). Rinse under the port after every ride; keepers optional.
