Take the Wilson four-ring anti-bracing concept, then make the cannons thin, twisted and centred on a flat, and you get the Jump'In Twisted Wilson Bit with Flat - the version for horses that have stopped respecting the plain model. Everything about the mouthpiece adds definition: less metal, a twist that catches the tongue's attention, and a central flat that gives the aid a clear surface.

How it works: the outer free rings connect to the cheekpieces while the reins work the inner cannon rings, so the contact keeps moving and the horse can't lock onto a single fixed point - the core Wilson trait. The twist and thin cannons sharpen what the tongue feels, and the flat centre concentrates each half-halt. The French mouth shaping still frees the palate from any pressing. German silver alloy, the usual Jump'In mix (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel).

Why we rate it: a legitimate next step when the standard Wilson goes ignored - stronger, but in a smart, targeted way rather than through leverage. Paired with an educated hand on course, it gets respect back without a fight. Rinse the twist grooves after every ride. Compare it with our full snaffle bits range.

— Sizes: 125 mm (5 in) or 135 mm (5.25 in).
