Loose ring squared twisted cannons bit
Thick, squared and twisted, this Jump'In Loose Ring Bit is shaped unmistakably for anatomically large mouths. The generous cannons fill a big mouth properly, so the twist doesn't read as severity - it reads as a clear, confident aid in a space where slimmer bits would rattle around unheard.
How it works: the squared, twisted cannon profile presents defined edges against the tongue and bars instead of the smooth neutrality of a round cannon, sharpening the rein aid for horses that need extra support to hold themselves and respect the hand. Loose ring cheeks keep the delivery simple, and the German silver alloy (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) brings the solid feel Jump'In is known for.
Why we rate it: big horses - the chunky WB types that grunt through a standard bit and lean anyhow - are exactly who Jump'In had in mind, and it shows: the thickness makes it fair where a thin twist would be too much, and the twist makes it clear where a smooth thick bit would go unnoticed. Every LEARN MORS tutorial this French brand produces is worth an hour; you'll learn the same. The twist captures feed, so rinse it properly after riding. More snaffle bits here.
