There are days when a horse leans, and days when a horse needs a sharper question. The Jump'In French Mouth Very Thin Cannons bit is for the second situation. Jump'In's standard French mouth is famously tolerant; slimming the cannons right down concentrates the same rein aid into a smaller contact area, giving a stronger effect while the French mouth link still protects the palate.

How it works: thinner cannons mean less metal against the tongue and bars, so each aid lands with more clarity. The loose ring cheeks keep the overall action direct, with no leverage, and the German silver construction (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) holds its shape while staying comfortable to carry.

Why we rate it: this is a tool, not a default. Jump'In is blunt that very thin cannons don't suit every horse and every hand - used with a soft rider on a horse that needs more feel in the mouth, it works; in rough hands it's unforgiving. We like that honesty. If your current snaffle bit is being ignored, this refill earns its place; wash it after every use so it stays clean against the tongue.
