Product FAQs
How do I measure for riding boots?
You need two measurements: foot length (standard shoe size) and calf width at the widest point. For tall boots, also measure from the floor to the back of your knee. Check the brand-specific size chart above — calf sizing varies significantly between brands.
What's the difference between tall boots and paddock boots?
Tall boots (dress or field boots) are required for formal competition. Paddock boots (ankle-height) are for everyday riding and are worn with half chaps. Most riders own both — paddock boots for schooling, tall boots for competition.
How do I care for leather riding boots?
Clean after every ride with a damp cloth, condition weekly with leather conditioner, and use boot trees or stuff with newspaper to maintain shape when not in use. Keep away from direct heat. Properly maintained leather boots can last years.
