Carat Fly veil
The Carat is the classic entry in Jump'In's fly veil range: a crochet forehead band with super-stretch earpieces, made to quieten the two things that most unsettle a working horse - insects and ambient noise.
How it works: the crochet front sits flat along the browband line, while the ultra-stretchy ear sections flex to fit many different ear forms and sizes. That stretch is the design's best trait - the veil stays in place through a full session instead of working loose, and there's no need to size-shop for ear shape. The result is a horse that keeps his attention on the rider rather than on the bug crawling up his ear.
Why we rate it: this is the tidy, traditional choice for everyday flatwork andcompetition warm-up - no soundproofing layer, just a clean crochet look and a good fit. For the noise-sensitive horse, Jump'In's Soundless version adds the acoustic insulation. Compare it with the rest of the ear bonnet range.
— Colourways: navy and black. Size Full.

Product FAQs
How do I measure my horse for the Carat Fly veil?
You need four measurements: (1) headstall — from behind the ear, over the poll, to the other ear; (2) browband — around the forehead; (3) noseband — around the nose where it sits; (4) bit-to-bit — corner of mouth to corner of mouth over the poll. Most Jump'In bridles come in Cob, Full, and Warmblood sizes.
Is the Carat Fly veil a dressage or jumping bridle?
Dressage bridles typically have a flash noseband, larger browband, and longer cheekpieces for a refined look. Jumping bridles often have a drop or figure-8 noseband and are designed to stay secure over fences. Check the Carat Fly veil product description for its discipline design.
How do I care for my Jump'In bridle?
Wipe down after every ride with a damp cloth. Clean with leather soap weekly, then condition with leather oil or balm. Store hanging in a cool, dry place. Take apart and deep-clean monthly. Well-maintained Carat Fly veil leather bridles can last decades.
