Small leather fittings usually get bought in a hurry and replaced within a season. These rope bit loops from Jump'In's One Collection are the kind that quietly break that cycle: corded loops made for daily work, with the same workshop care the French brand puts into its bridles.

How it works: each loop passes through the ring of the bit and anchors it to the cheek pieces of your bridle, keeping the mouthpiece settled without extra bulk at the rings. Solid stainless steel buckles do the fastening, so swapping bits at the yard stays a two-minute job rather than a wrestling match.

Why we rate it: the One Collection is Jump'In stripped back to basics - everyday leatherwork that still carries the brand's savoir-faire rather than a dumbed-down price-point version. We rate gear that isn't precious about being used every day, and these sit in that camp.

— Colourways: black, hazelnut and havana. Full size, finished with stainless steel buckles.
