The Segunda is not a bit for every horse or every rider, and Jump'In is refreshingly blunt about that. For the right combination, the half-moon port gives a direct, strong channel of communication that few other mouthpieces can match.

How it works: built in German Silver and stainless steel, the eggbutt rings stay fixed so the action is direct, while the shaped cannons and half-moon port act squarely on the tongue. The geometry is particular by design: it suits riders with an established, soft hand who need a precise tool for a specific horse.

Why we rate it: it belongs in the category of bits you buy with a purpose, ideally with your coach's input. Jump'In's French range has been designed with professional riders since 1990, and specialist mouthpieces like this are where that expertise shows. Rinse after each use.
