Loose ring squared 14 mm cannons bit

The 14 mm squared cannons on this Jump'In loose ring bit tell you its brief: added definition through geometry, not through thinness. The marked square edges read more distinctly against the tongue than any round cannon, yet the 14 mm thickness keeps the overall feel fair for everyday schooling.

How it works: instead of a smooth barrel, the squared profile presents defined edges that the tongue notices the instant an aid arrives - Jump'In rates the action stronger than standard cannon bits purely on that shaping. The large flat rings bring better direction with a light lever effect, so aids travel crisply without wandering. And per Jump'In, the design also frees the horse from tongue pressure where it matters most.

Why we rate it: a good middle weight - more presence than a round loose ring snaffle, far less than the very thin 8 mm sibling. For the horse that's grown a bit deaf to its everyday snaffle but doesn't deserve escalation, this restores clarity civilly. School in it, show in it, no drama. German silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel); the square edges hold feed residue, so rinse properly. Explore our snaffle bits range.
