The exclusive 3-layer bonded fabric (92% polyester, 8% spandex) carries a 5,000mm waterproof rating with fully taped seams, which puts it well ahead of typical "shower-resistant" country jackets — it holds up properly in an Australian winter downpour, not just a drizzle. The spandex content means it moves with you rather than crackling like old-school rainwear, and the 5,000 g/m²/24h breathability rating stops the sticky build-up you get in cheaper waterproofs.

The A-line swing cut is genuinely flattering and doesn't pull across the shoulders, with an adjustable drawstring hood, two snap-close waist pockets and a centre-front copper snap closure. It's light enough to scrunch into the car boot and live there all winter.
