Shop equestrian dog collars, worming tablets, and canine supplements at iRide EQ. Premium leather dog collars from Belle Equestrian and Jump'In, plus health essentials from Value Plus and Crooked Lane — for the dog that follows you around the stables.
Quick Answer: Shop dog gear in Australia — collars, leads and coats for country and farm dogs, from the equestrian lifestyle brands you already know and love. Belle Equestrian's diamante collars feature snaffle bit and heart designs in premium leather, while Jump'In offers a French-made collar that matches their equestrian range. For health, Value Plus worming tablets and Crooked Lane supplements keep your stable dog in top condition.
Choosing a Leather Dog Collar That Lasts
A good leather dog collar outlasts nylon by years. The Belle Equestrian range uses full-grain leather with stainless steel hardware — the same materials used in their bridles and leather goods. The diamante versions add crystal accents set into the leather, not glued on, so they stay put through mud, rolling, and whatever else your dog gets into at the stables.
Sizing is the critical factor. Measure your dog's neck snugly, then add two fingers of room. Belle Equestrian collars come in a standard width that suits medium-to-large breeds — think kelpies, border collies, and staffies, the dogs you see at every ag show and pony club. The Jump'In collar is a simpler design, French-made, and matches the leather you'd find on their bridles.

Belle Equestrian vs Jump'In Dog Collars
Belle Equestrian dominates our dog collar range with 14 styles — from the plain black Belle collar to the diamante-heavy Duchess Exquisite with its snaffle bit design. The naming convention is worth understanding: the "Grande" versions have larger diamante stones, while the standard versions are more understated. If your dog is going to be rolling in the sand at a horse show, the standard versions are the practical choice. The Grande collars are for the dog that needs to look the part at a competition.
The Jump'In dog collar is the dark horse (pun intended). It's French-made, simple, and matches the leather quality of their jumping bridles. If you already ride in Jump'In gear, it's a nice touch to have your dog matching.

Keeping Your Stable Dog Healthy
The dogs that live at stables need the same health attention as the horses. Value Plus makes two essentials: Canine All Wormer Tablets for intestinal worms and Valuheart Monthly Heartworm Tablets for heartworm prevention. Both are tablet-form and dosed by body weight — check the packaging for the right dose for your dog's size.
Crooked Lane adds the supplement layer. Their Naturally Calm Chews help with anxious dogs who stress during float loading or thunderstorms. ULTRAmega N3 Oil provides omega-3 fatty acids for coat and joint health. The Dental Organic Seaweed Meal and Plexident Dental Chews handle teeth — important for dogs that chew on sticks, horse boots, and whatever else they find around the property.
One thing worth noting: chaste tree berries are sometimes used for mares with hormonal issues, and the Crooked Lane whole berries we stock are labelled for equine use. Don't give equine-dosed supplements to dogs without consulting your vet — the concentration is different.
What to Look For in a Stable Dog Collar
Not every leather collar handles stable life well. The three things that matter most are hardware quality, leather grade, and stitch construction. Cheap collars use plated steel hardware that rusts within months of exposure to morning dew, horse sweat, and water trough splashes. Belle Equestrian uses stainless steel buckles and D-rings that won't corrode, which matters when your dog is wearing the collar 365 days a year.
Full-grain leather ages better than bonded or split leather. It develops a patina rather than cracking, and it softens with wear instead of stiffening. If you're spending $60-100 on a collar, it should last five years — and full-grain leather will. Bonded leather won't make it through two summers.
Stitching is the giveaway. Look for double-stitched seams at stress points — the buckle attachment and the D-ring anchor. Single-stitched collars fail at these points when a large dog pulls hard. The Belle Equestrian collars are double-stitched at every stress point, which is why they outlast cheaper alternatives by a wide margin.
One thing people don't think about: collar width. A wider collar distributes pressure better across the neck, which matters for dogs that pull on the lead. The Belle Equestrian collars run a medium width that suits most stable dogs — not so wide it's heavy on a smaller dog, not so narrow it digs into a larger one. If your dog is particularly small (under 10kg), these collars may be too wide — check the product measurements before ordering.
Why Shop Dog Gear at iRide EQ?
Premium Leather, Not Pet Shop Nylon
Our collars are full-grain leather with stainless steel hardware — the same quality as our equestrian leather goods. They last years, not months.
Real Health Products
We stock genuine wormers and supplements from Value Plus and Crooked Lane — not generic pet store alternatives. Always check with your vet for the right dosage.
Match Your Equestrian Style
Jump'In dog collars match the leather on their bridles. Belle Equestrian collars use the same diamante settings as their fashion range.
Fast Australia-Wide Shipping
Dog gear ships from our Australian warehouse with the same fast delivery as our rider apparel and horse equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Belle Equestrian dog collars real leather?
Yes. Belle Equestrian collars are full-grain leather with stainless steel hardware. The diamante versions have crystals set into the leather — not glued — so they stay secure through regular wear.
What size dog fits the Belle Equestrian collars?
The collars suit medium to large breeds — typically kelpies, border collies, staffies, and similar-sized dogs. Measure your dog's neck snugly and add two fingers of room. If your dog is very small or very large, check the specific product measurements before ordering.
Do you sell dog worming tablets?
Yes. We stock Value Plus Canine All Wormer Tablets for intestinal parasites and Valuheart Monthly Heartworm Tablets for heartworm prevention. Both are dosed by body weight — always follow the packaging instructions and consult your vet if unsure.
Can I match my dog's collar to my riding gear?
Yes — the Jump'In dog collar is made from the same leather as their bridles, so if you ride in Jump'In, your dog can match. Belle Equestrian collars also coordinate with their leather keyrings and accessories.
Are the Crooked Lane supplements safe for dogs?
The Crooked Lane products we stock (Naturally Calm Chews, ULTRAmega N3 Oil, Dental Seaweed Meal, Plexident Chews) are formulated for dogs. Always follow packaging instructions and consult your vet before starting any new supplement, especially if your dog is on medication.
How fast is shipping on dog collars?
Dog collars and health products ship from our Australian warehouse within 1-2 business days. Standard delivery is 2-5 business days Australia-wide.
Can I return a dog collar if it doesn't fit?
Unused collars in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. We can't accept returns on worming tablets or supplements for health and safety reasons.
